Seahawks cornerback Dave Brown was the guy from the 1976 expansion draft who lasted with the team longer than any other player. Seattle nabbed him from the Steelers as Pittsburgh was coming off a Super Bowl win.
Brown was the third player to be inducted to the Seahawks Ring of Honor in 1992, which coincided with the start of his coaching career with the Seahawks up until 1998. So, not only did he have an impact on the Seahawks defense of the early 80s, but he had an impact on defense of the early 90s as the coach of the defensive backs.
Brown will go down in history for bringing back two touchdowns in a game where the Seahawks returned an NFL record of four interceptions for touchdowns. An effort that shut out the division rival Chiefs back in 1984, 45-0.
