133: Eagles preview with a lifelong Philly fan, Fant stays in at left tackle, Thomas Rawls ready to play
The 5-4 Philadelphia Eagles travel to Seattle this weekend after taking down the Atlanta Falcons and their number one offense. The Eagles defense held the Falcons to only 15 points and continue to dominate on their home turf. But they only have one win on the road to this point in the season. Brandan has this defensive front ranked only behind teams like the Cardinals and Rams and are a huge key to their success. Adam thinks that a more mobile Russell Wilson has a chance to become the first quarterback to pass for more than 300 yards against this defense.
Eagles fan Scott Fenimore comes on the show to talk about his impressions of the Eagles and whether he thinks Carson Wentz is the kind of quarterback that can lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl. He believes that even with the success of Dak Prescott that Wentz will be the best quarterback to come out of this draft class. Scott also talks about the weaknesses of this defense as well as inconsistencies with the wide receivers who play on the outside.
In the last segment of the show, the guys thank the listeners who submitted reviews recently. Adam goes after Skype and any other piece of software that requires automatic updates in his Do Better pick this week. Brandan closes the show by talking about Thomas Rawls and how he appears ready to go and his infectious personality that shows his enthusiasm for the upcoming game.
If two shows weren't enough this week, get in the Flock and tune into our bonus show where we discuss your Seahawks deserving of Pro Bowl votes, and a former NFL quarterback says we should be considering Carroll among best all-time coaches.
