Winning is always better than losing, but is a loss against the Rams better than a close win over the Cardinals? That may be a difficult choice. The Seahawks carried a 31-24 lead into the fourth quarter and continued to lead after a missed extra point by the Rams. They had a couple opportunities to keep their lead late in the game, but failed to execute. Adam and Brandan talk about the key plays in the final quarter and the coaching decisions that contributed to the loss.
On the positive side, the Seahawks looked like a team that has the ability to compete with any other team in the league. With Tedric Thompson now in the starting lineup, he filled in well for Earl Thomas and was the top rated defensive player according to Pro Football Focus. The guys talk about the plays he contributed to the most and the upside of the Seahawks secondary.
Considering what we saw from the Seahawks and their potential to be a team on the upswing in the second half of the season, the guys talk about the other teams in the NFC that could present a problem in a run for a playoff spot.
The Seahawks head to London to take on the Oakland Raiders for the franchise's first regular season International Series game. The guys talk about which area that Seattle clearly holds an advantage in the matchup between these two teams. But are there some wildcards to consider in this game? It may be that the Seahawks have never seen field conditions quite like what they'll find at Wembley Stadium.
