We talked a little bit about the salary cap last week as Adam concluded that there was no more money left to sign players. All the money was gone. Turns out figuring out how the salary cap works is hard, so the guys take a bit of time to talk about some of the details before getting into the latest round of free agent signings for the team. Russ emails the show to ask about the logic of allowing Hauschka to leave the team in free agency and Adam and Brandan talk about the potential impact of losing someone who has been proven to perform in clutch situations.

Now that some of the contract numbers are in, Adam has changed his tune on one player in particular. The reports of a Marshawn Lynch comeback continue and it's shown Adam a new trick the media seems to be using in how they continue to cover a story which there seems to be no new news.  In actual news, Michael Bennett this past week named his three breakout players for 2017 and Brandan and Adam react to the names because one name in particular was a bit of a surprise.

With the upcoming draft, Brandan takes a look at the cost of moving up in the draft and a look back to 2011 when the Atlanta Falcons swapped first rounders with the Cleveland Browns and offered up four additional picks to move up to select Julio Jones. If the Seahawks could have gone back and made a similar move, which players would Seattle may have missed out on drafting? The guys discuss the impact of making that kind of move.

The Sea Hawkers Annual Banquet is scheduled for May 20 in Bellevue. Visit seahawkers.org for tickets. Emails from listeners spur a discussion on the offensive line as well as thoughts on a couple of the greatest comeback seasons of all time. Do better nods go to the competition committee if there aren't any proposals to allow for the Seahawks throwback uniforms and to sports news outlets for overreacting to something that seems like a waste of taxpayer dollars. Roger Goodell gets a Better at Life nomination for being just like the rest of us when it comes to commercials and to Sheil Kapadia of ESPN for writing an article that deserves Seahawks attention.
