Training camp opened for the Seahawks this week, which has Adam and Brandan fired up for the 2018 season. One thing is apparent is that there's a lot of young talent on the team that we haven't been talking about with the departure of so many former star players. There are a few down notes with Coach Carroll announcing some injuries to start of the season, but the important thing for most of them is that they're ready for Week 1.

Closing out the Know Your Rival series for the offseason is a look at the Arizona Cardinals. Former Cardinals punter Drew Butler, now of the Punt and Pass Podcast, joins the show to talk about changes to the coaching staff and at quarterback. How the Cardinals respond to a new system on offense is a big question leading into the season. Drew talks about where he was when the Seahawks and Cardinals faced off for the 6-6 tie on Sunday Night Football and he offers his thoughts on the Seahawks new punter Michael Dickson.

In the second half of the show, the guys take a trip to Prisco's World and Pete's prediction that Seattle will go 5-11 this year. The prediction record appears to a be a subconscious nod toward his thoughts on the Seahawks quarterback situation. We have a lot of listener emails this week and discuss everything from why Russell continues to have his detractors to an imagined origin story for how the Sea Hawkers Podcast came to be.

Do better call outs go to the writers and media members who are doing nothing but complaining about the Terrell Owens situation and a sports writer for taking an odd angle on the Malik McDowell story. Better at life honors go to the astronomers who discovered Jupiter has 10 more moons and to the Jets for saying all the right things about their backup quarterback recovering from a devastating injury.
