Rob Staton of Seahawks Draft Blog joins us to talk about the Seahawks draft, his Trench Explosion Formula that could help predict which offensive lineman the Seahawks might take based off of past history and traits the Seahawks look for.

Jason Spriggs and Germain Ifedi are two offensive lineman who exhibit characteristics the Seahawks are interested in and Rob explains why he likes Ifedi over Spriggs and some other players the Seahawks could look at if they choose to go in a different direction in the first round.

Rob talks about one defensive lineman the Seahawks shouldn't hesitate to go after if he's on the board at the end of the first round and linebacker Kyler Fackrell, a pass rusher from Utah State, who could be considered as a replacement for Bruce Irvin.

Do the Seahawks draft for need or the best player available? Rob explains how history shows John Schneider and the Seahawks consistently draft for need versus best player available. Rob talks about a Stanford receiver he would like to see come to Seattle, a running back he likes to compliment Thomas Rawls and a safety who could fit right in with the hard-hitting Legion of Boom.

Lastly, Rob talks about one of his favorite players in the draft, an offensive lineman with an incredible story. Be sure to follow Rob on Twitter @robstaton, tune into 3000 NFL Mock Draft on iTunes or fieldgulls.com, and check out Rob's blog at seahawksdraftblog.com.
