Wrapping up the fourth season of the Sea Hawkers Podcast, the guys take a look at Head Coach Pete Carroll's final press conference of the season. Carroll talks about the one thing that had the biggest impact on the team this year. Was it the distractions the team faced including a few moments from Richard Sherman, was it the youth of the offensive line or injuries the team faced throughout the season?
Looking ahead we get a sense of where this team may have diverted from Carroll's philosophy. Can we expect a shift moving ahead to next season. We also get some hints at where this team may focus some attention in the draft. While Adam was surprised to see the team focused at running back at 2016, there may be another surprise in 2017 at where we see Seattle focus its attention.
Clinton Bonner joins the show to talk about some of the highs and lows of the 2016 season. Seahawks.com took a look at some award winning performances from the past season and Adam, Brandan and Clinton each offer their takes on competition at each spot and if there were some more worthy players deserving of the end-of-year awards.
A long show for you this week as we get into a couple emails before moving on to a do better for the NFL and for Bruce Arians of the Arizona Cardinals. Better at life nods go out to Colin Cowherd and Adam's admiration for his views on the Falcons and to Marshawn Lynch for his latest trip to Houston, Scotland and how his Skittles endorsement finally won Brandan over.
