After debating the question all week about whether Seahawks fans should cheer for a 49ers loss or a Saints loss, we are left with what might have been the least desirable outcome - a loss for the Seahawks. Seattle lost to the Rams 28-12 in a way that we haven't seen from a Seahawks team in recent memory. A game where they didn't look like they came to play at any point in this game. After giving up 21 first half points, the defense was able to get two turnovers early in the 3rd quarter, but the offense wasn't able to move the ball. A big reason for that is how they were dominated in the trenches, and when Russell Wilson had time to throw the ball there were dropped passes, penalties and other annoyances that kept the offense from moving the ball. The good news is that the Seahawks still control their destiny and maybe this can be a wakeup call going into the next two weeks ahead of the Week 17 matchup with the Niners.
