The Seattle Seahawks are now 7-3 and coming off a 28-21 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. For the second time this season, we watched a Seahawks defense shut out an opponent in the first quarter of a football game. It was their best defensive performance in terms of points allowed in the 2020 season. What did it take to help turn things around for the defense? By accounts from the team in press conferences this week, they simply held a meeting where players talked about what their jobs were in particular situations.

The defense also got an assist from a Seahawks offense that held the ball for a majority of the game. It kept the Arizona Cardinals offense off the field. Carlos Hyde gave Seattle a dynamic on offense that we haven't seen in previous weeks. We also take a look at some of the moments that both kept the Cardinals in the game, and helped the Seahawks expand their lead late in the game.

The Seahawks move into a four-game stretch of the season where anything other than going undefeated will be a huge disappointment. The next four teams on the schedule (Eagles, Giants, Jets, Football Team) have combined to win a total of two games outside of their own division. With that in mind, the Seahawks need to have some statement wins and rack up stats, especially if Russell Wilson is going to be back in the conversation for MVP. It's not just for personal awards, it's to get the team prepared for a Week 16 rematch with the Rams.

In the second half of the show we take a look back at the previous five weeks and why 2-3 feels like a disappointing result despite some of the issues Seattle faced with injuries. We get into the pick'em winners from the past two weeks. In the 'Do Better' segment we talk about how North Korea may or may not be militarizing dolphins and what DeAndre Hopkins was crying about after a Cardinals loss to the Dolphins. Better at life honors go to an unknown prankster and to a former Seahawks player who embraced the spirit of giving for Thanksgiving.
