The Seahawks have been holding OTAs and mandatory minicamp over the past couple weeks and one notable player who is absent is wide receiver DK Metcalf. Is the team close to signing the former second round pick to a long-term deal? Would it be better to wait and pay DK to see if he has a subpar season? It may be that there is another good reason for the team to wait on before solidifying the deal (but not for too long).
ESPN's Bill Barnwell recently released his rankings of best to worst teams considering how they've approached the offseason. The Broncos got the top spot by trading for Russell Wilson and that same move landed on the bottom. But when you look at another team Barwell had in the top 5, are the Seahawks really that far off from being in a similar position soon?
In the second half of the show, we talk about a former Seahawks player who is retiring with a record that will stick in the record books. General Manager John Schneider was on a recently released podcast where he discussed a move that he'll never make again.
